IRCI Commences Cooperation Activities with SAC
IRCI signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) concerning research activities for intangible cultural heritage in Asia and the Pacific with the The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre (SAC). The signing ceremony of the MOU between the two institutions was held on 1st August 2012 at SAC building in Bangkok attended by Misako Ohnuki, Deputy Director of IRCI, and Suvanna Kriengkraipetch, Director of SAC. They discussed details on their mutual cooperation in the future by establishing close ties between museums in the region. As a first step IRCI and SAC co-organize “International Field School Alumni Seminar on Safeguarding ICH in the Asia Pacific” on 6-10 August 2012, at Lamphun.
