The IRCI Database provides access to a variety of data including literature, experts, institutions, and administrative officials involved with the safeguarding of ICH in the Asia-Pacific region. With the cooperation of experts as well as national archives, libraries, and related institutions in the Asia-Pacific region, IRCI continues to add and disseminate the information obtained in the course of literature survey and projects not only for ICH researchers but also for experts and students in field of law, anthropology, folklore, sociology, archaeology, cultural properties/heritage, cultural studies, and so on.
